Efficiency is in, wasteful spending is out.
First edition of efficient growth.
First of all, thanks for subscribing. I appreciate you.
I’ve always been one to validate things before going all-in. This newsletter managed to get dozens of new subscribers before a newsletter had even been published. Signal received.
The objective of this newsletter is to provide you with playbooks, frameworks and little nuggets every Friday that you can use to improve your go-to-market efficiency. Whether that be for executing a new outbound GTM motion or knowing how to stand out on paid social when running Ads.
Because the thing is, efficiency isn’t just a cool word, it’s a matter of survival for SaaS companies in 2024 and beyond. The golden era of 2010-2023 where capital was cheap and priorities were wrong, is well and truly over.
Efficiency is in, wasteful spending and old methodology is out.
In this first newsletter, I thought it would make sense to get to know each other.
Here’s my journey up until now:
Joined the British Army at 17, climbed the ranks and badged as a Sniper
Joined Recorded Future, a CyberTech scaleup, as an SDR
Joined Intruder, a CyberTech startup, leading retention, trial activation and various GTM things (Do-everything-type startup role)
Founded Digiseed, a consultancy and partner for B2B SaaS companies
I also work 1:1 with B2B SaaS founders, helping them find traction and build a repeatable growth process.
For each of these progressions I had zero previous experience. Simply became obsessed with SaaS and learned as much as I could. And I’ve had plenty of wins and losses along the way.
So what about you? I’m keen to learn more.
Here are some questions to help you, would be cool to learn who you are and what you’d like me to discuss in this newsletter:
What are you working on?
What topics are you interested in?
When is your preferred time to read newsletters?
See you on the next one.
Liam
